Sitting With It  |   MOUSETRAP + exhibition marketing

Brief: Craft work in response to the ‘Sitting With It’ exhibition theme, an exploration of the hybridity of the art studio and domestic space, reflecting on life post-COVID.

 

Idea / Approach : As part of the marketing team, reflecting this theme across exhibition print collateral and simultaneously create/code my exhibited installation piece, MOUSETRAP, exploring notions of personal autonomy and reliance on chatbots for validation.

 

Outcome?: MOUSETRAP shortlisted for Most Original FAHACS prize. Record-breaking attendance for UOL Fine Art show, including celebrity guest, Human League’s Phil Oakey. Scouted and featured in a solo Yorkshire Evening Post article, dissecting my personal practice, the effects of AI on artists, representing 62 of my peers.

Signature Art Prize  |   WHITE IN WEIGHT, Painting Finalist

Inspired by the coverage of the BLM protests during lockdown, I got to work on this painting depicting Patrick Hutchinson carrying a white anti-protestor. i earned a Signature Art Prize Finalist spot and exhibiting the piece at the Bankside Gala, not far from the location of the original photo.

Montcalm: Sensitive Luxury

Reflecting the exciting new era of Montcalm Collection’s flagship five-star hotel across two flyers means capturing both its elegant Georgian roots and modern multiculturalism. For this task, I have explored how sensitive luxury whispers throughout, in-keeping with brand guidelines.
